Dr. Llanes graduated Cum Laude from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her doctorate degree in 2017. The year she graduated, she became the sole recipient of the Excellence in Small Animal Surgery award given by the clinicians in Purdue University. As a small animal veterinarian, she has a primary passion for surgery and also has a specialized interest in internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Llanes is very particular about making sure your companion has a fear and stress-free visit and employs numerous techniques to make sure they feel comfortable while in the hospital.
She enjoys spending her free time traveling, cooking, listening to live jazz, and watching Julio (her boyfriend) create fine art masterpieces. She currently lives in Fort Myers with her two thirteen year old dogs (Coupi and Sihci) and her sun conure (Pelangi).
Dr. Laura Laxton earned her doctorate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She has had a passion for helping animals since childhood and has worked with animal rescues, zoos, and CROW’s wildlife rehabilitation center. As a small animal veterinarian, she has a focused interest in animal behavior, dermatology, and communication. She is Fear Free℠ certified and cares about your pet’s emotional well-being. She enjoys spending her free time with photography, swing dancing, and watching movies with her husband, Matthew, and four dogs, Lindy, Cara, Maggie, and Wilfred. She currently resides in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Always an animal lover. Amy decided to go back to school and become a veterinary technician at Bel Rea institute of veterinary technology in Denver, Co and graduated in 2003. She started her career as an ICU technician for five years and decided general practice was what she loved. A Chicago native, who made Florida her home in 2011. She has two dogs Smokey and Stella and a human child Gabriel, who loves spending time at Disney.
Erika Kuester graduated from Minnesota School of Business with her Associates of Applied Science degree in 2009. She has been a veterinary technician since 2006, and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. She has a passion for anesthesia, dentistry, and critical medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children, reading, and being outdoors. She currently resides in Fort Myers.
Tracy LeBrun attended Columbia College where she earned a BFA in photography and a minor in computer graphics. After 20 years in the photography industry, she changed careers to veterinary medicine. She has earned various certifications in veterinary medicine and joined the Pets First Animal Hospitals in May 2017. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking with her dogs, movies, photography and relaxing with friends
Animal medicine has always been Autumn’s dream career. In 2009, she began her forever journey as a technician. Before having her son, her 4 dogs where her only kids. Now, her home and heart are both so full of love and fur!
Robin Anderson has been grooming for over 25 years now. She is originally from New Jersey where she learned to groom by another well experienced groomer . She was taught step by step over the course of two years while she worked for her as a bather. She came to Pets First in 2016 and admires the staffs passion for animals.
