Dr. Laura Laxton earned her doctorate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She has had a passion for helping animals since childhood, and has worked with animal rescues, zoos, and CROW’s wildlife rehabilitation center. As a small animal veterinarian, she has a focused interest in animal behavior, dermatology, and communication. She is Fear Free℠ certified and cares about your pet’s emotional well-being. She enjoys spending her free time with photography, swing dancing, and watching movies with her husband, Matthew, and four dogs, Lindy, Cara, Maggie, and Wilfred. She currently resides in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Karin Szust has over 20 years’ experience in the field of Small Animal Veterinary Medicine. Born and raised in Argentina, she trained and worked as a veterinarian in Argentina till she moved to the United States in 1986. Once in the states she worked in general small animal practice as a veterinary technician, clinical supervisor and practice manager. She’s a member of the American Boxer Club and the Southeast Florida Boxer Club. In her free time, Karin enjoys baking, reading and attending conformation dog shows. Karin’s interest for small animals carries over into her home, which she shares with her husband and two boxers, Lula and Bang-Bang and two funny Frenchie’s, Cha-Cha and Gracie.
