Puppy Training Classes

Puppy & Me Workshop(New Pet Owner)
Class Times:  Saturday & Sunday at 9 A.M.
The Puppy & Me workshop is broken down into 4 different exercise sections and
will provide you with the skills and tools for traditional puppy behavior such as:
  • Biting
  • Mouthing
  • Jumping
  • Crate and Potty Training
Puppy Smart Socialization Workshop
Class Times:  Saturday & Sunday at 10 A.M.

Socialization Workshop focuses on how to correctly introduce your puppy to other dogs. You will learn how to read your pet’s body language and develop a strong understanding of your puppy’s social behavior.

Puppy Obedience Level 1 Workshop
Class Times:  Saturday & Sunday at 12 P.M.
The Puppy Obedience Level 1 Workshop will focus on training your puppy the basic commands:
  • Come, Sit and Stay
  • Walking on a loose leash
  • Leave and take an item

Adult Obedience Classes

Obedience Level 1 – Starting Out:
Class Times: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 9 A.M.

Introduce the basic commands sit, down, stationary attention, and the name game.

Obedience Level 2 – Manners Training:
Class Times: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 10 A.M.

We’ll work on politely walking on a loose leash without pulling. Paying attention to the owner while walking and ignoring other dogs. We’ll also begin working on come when called and stay.

Obedience Level 3 – Adding Distractions:  
Class Times: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 11 A.M.

We’ll work on long-distance come command, stay with distractions, loose-leash, walking past distractions and distance commands.

Obedience Level 4 – Advance Training: 
Class Times: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 12 P.M.

We’ll work on polishing the come command and teaching an emergency come, strengthen the stay command by teaching the dog to stay for longer periods of time and at a greater distance from the owner. We will also work on turns and automatic sit and heel.


Meet Our Trainer

Mary-Frances Morris

My name is Mary-Frances Morris. I have been working in the field of behavior and animal training for over 20 years. Over the years, I have gained a degree in psychology(BA), become a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCABA), gained the titles of Canine Trainer and Behavior Specialist, Certified Pet Dog Trainer ( CPDT-ka), an evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen(CGC) and an evaluator for the Canine Life and Social Skills Program. I use the science of learning theory to help teach people why their dogs are doing what they do and find an individualized solution that will work for pet parent and their dog.
